Every individual in the AEC space goes through multiple stages. Some land favourable jobs shortly after graduation, while others choose to pursue a master’s degree, and still others take a moment to figure out their next step.

Glancy and Venkata—two brilliant graduates from our Rhino and Grasshopper Certification Course—were also exploring their paths while searching for the right career fit.

Although their journeys are unique in their own ways, their stories are quite different from each other: one is a university student discovering parametric tools for the first time, while the other is a young architect seeking a career leap into global design firms.

Yet at the core, both stories echo the same truth: the right learning environment can transform fear into confidence, and curiosity into opportunity.

How Glancy Overcame Her Fear of Rhino & Grasshopper as a Complete Beginner

When Glancy signed up, she didn’t know what she was stepping into.

She had never touched Rhino or Grasshopper. Not in school. Not in the studio. Not even through casual tutorials. To her, the interface looked alien and intimidating — a world of nodes, curves, and logic that seemed to operate on its own language.

But something was intriguing about it. The idea that geometry could be shaped, scripted, and re-shaped excited her just enough to push past her doubts.

The First Obstacle: Glancy’s Initial Struggles with Rhino & Grasshopper

From the beginning, the course required one thing: completing the assignments.

And that was hard.

But it was also the turning point.

Every practice exercise forced her to go back into the software, even when it felt challenging. The mentors were present not just as instructors, but as guides who understood exactly what it felt like to be new.

Glancy recalls how the hands-on support changed everything:

“Jeo was a 5/5. They were super helpful and wonderful to get mentored by.”

The WhatsApp group became her safe space — a place to ask questions, share progress, and learn from others who were figuring things out just like her.

The Magic of Rewinding

When the concepts felt overwhelming, the course gave her something invaluable: video recordings.

She could pause. Rewatch. Try again. And suddenly, the software didn’t feel so intimidating anymore.

The Shift: Glancy’s Turning Point with Rhino & Grasshopper

By the end of the course, something had changed.

What once felt “very difficult” suddenly became manageable. What seemed foreign now felt familiar. And she found herself applying the tools directly to her university projects.

For Glancy, the journey went from

“I don’t think I can do this,” to “I can’t believe this is actually fun.”

Her final rating? A full 10/10.

Because for her, it wasn’t just a course. It was the moment she realised she belonged in the world of computational design.

Venkata Krishna Murthy: From Traditional Architect to Master Planner with Rhino & Grasshopper

Venkata’s story starts in a very different place.

He wasn’t a beginner. He had 3 years of experience as a junior architect, grounded in traditional workflows — AutoCAD, drafting, and conventional project processes.

But inside, he wanted more.

He wanted to explore. He wanted exposure. He wanted to work on projects at a scale that would challenge him — aviation, masterplanning, complex mixed-use developments, international collaborations.

He wanted a career that could someday lead him to firms like Jacobs, AECOM, and Zaha Hadid Architects.

How Venkata Chose the Right Course to Master Rhino & Grasshopper

Like many architects, he started with YouTube videos and scattered online content. But he quickly realised something:

You can’t build a global career on fragmented learning.

He needed a structured path, real mentors, real feedback, and a community he could lean on.

That’s when he found Kaarwan’s Advanced Rhino & Grasshopper course.

Learning, Unlearning, and Starting Again

Though experienced in architecture, Rhino and Grasshopper were entirely different ways of thinking.

He needed to revisit the basics. Not out of lack of skill — but to build a foundation strong enough for the scale of work he aspired to do.

The course turned out to be better than he imagined. Not just in content — but in involvement.

The program coordinators, the teaching team, the doubt-solving support… Everything scored a 10/10 in his book.

The community didn’t end with the course. He stayed connected, continued asking questions, and continued learning — because the environment felt like a place where he could grow without hesitation.

The Breakthrough: Bagging His Dream Job

Soon after completing the course, his aspirations took a real, tangible turn.

Venkata was able to secure a role at one of his dream companies as a Deputy Master Planner in the aviation department.

From drafting to master planning. From traditional workflows to parametric thinking. From learning on YouTube to applying computational design at a global scale.

The course didn’t just help him learn software — It helped him enter the world he had always dreamt of.

Today, he feels that working at firms like Zaha Hadid Architects or AECOM is not a distant dream anymore.  It’s a path he’s already walking.

His message to aspiring designers?

“If you want exposure or want to get into an international firm, this is the kind of experience you need.”

Different Journeys, One Landing Place

Glancy found confidence. Venkata found an opportunity.

One stepped into Rhino & Grasshopper for the first time. The other used it to unlock a new phase of his career.

What united them wasn’t just a course —It was a learning environment that cared.

An environment where mentors listen, assignments push, recordings support, communities stay alive, and learners transform.

Whether you’re a student experimenting with new tools or an architect chasing a global dream, their stories show that the right course doesn’t just teach software.

It changes the way you think, design, and grow.
